BACKGROUND
I am a proud 1987 Bedford High School Alumni and 1992 University of Michigan Alumni. Participation in football and Track and Field were highlights of both academic experiences where I focused on shot put and discus. Returning home after college, I wanted to give back to the school and community which gave me so much opportunity. I started teaching at Bedford in 1992 and full time at the Junior High School in 1994. I joined the Bedford Fire Department in 2001 and have had many experiences community wide at both jobs. I have since retired from my services from the department just short of 15 years on the job. I have spent the majority of my free time in pursuit of personal and physical wellness, including personal training for many young (and old-er) athletes as well as creating new ways to condition and prepare for life's obstacles.
